This week for maths we had to do pattern slides and we had to get our friends to finish the pattern.

My Holiday

          My Holiday

 During the holidays my  family and I went to Christchurch.

It took 3 hours to go to Christchurch, it was a really really long drive.

When we got there,  we headed to our motel that we had booked.

After we got to a motel we headed to the mall to get some things and to do  some shopping.

When we got back from the mall we went to my cousins house and we had lunch there. It was pretty fun.

After we had said goodbye to our cousins we headed to our motel where we had to clean up all of our shopping that we had left there. Once we had finished doing that we got into bed.

The next morning we were going to church for my cousin's baptism. There were three of my cousins being baptised. After the baptism we went back to my cousin's house and had  lunch with two elders and the rest of my extended family. For lunch we had pizza,pork chops and BQQ

After lunch we went ice skating.I had never been ice skating before and I was feeling scared.

When we got there my siblings and I all got our ice skates.

Then it was time to ice skate.

We all tried to skate. I found it really difficult at the beginning but it got better and better.

It was really funny watching everyone else fall over.

I fell over twice and got blisters from the ice skates.

My older sister was really good at skating because she had skated before in Samoa.

We skated for about three and a half hours.

I was tired and my legs were aching. It was so much fun and I can't wait to do it again.

We stayed in Christchurch for two nights in the motel.

I really enjoyed going shopping at WestField mall.

I bought lots of clothes and food.

After we had finished ice skating we had to travel home to GreyMouth.

And it seemed shorter driving  home.

I really enjoyed going to Christchurch to see my family and have fun.
